🔧 What's in the Box
Everything you need for a standard installation is included:
- Freshwater SF1107 sensor tap (hob/basin mounted)
- Control box with solenoid valve
- AC power adapter / cable (mains powered)
- Flexi hoses
Your plumber can have this installed and running in a standard fit-out without needing to source additional components.
💧 Water & Energy Savings
At a 6 Star WELS rating, the SF1107 is one of the most water-efficient taps available. Because it only runs when a hand is detected within sensor range — and automatically shuts off after 1 minute — it eliminates the most common cause of water waste in commercial bathrooms: taps being left on. Fixing the water temperature behind the access panel (rather than at a handle) also reduces hot water consumption, lowering energy bills over time.
🦠 Hygiene & Infection Control
Touchless taps are widely recommended in commercial, healthcare, and food-service environments for infection control. With no handles to touch, users don't re-contaminate their hands after washing — a simple change that measurably improves hand hygiene compliance. The SF1107's infrared sensor provides reliable hands-free detection without requiring contact with any surface.
⚡ Flexible Power — Mains or Battery
The SF1107 supports two power options:
- Mains (AC) — recommended: Plug the included power adapter into a standard wall outlet for uninterrupted operation.
- Battery backup: Insert 4x standard AA batteries. At 300 uses per day, batteries last 3+ years — keeping the tap operational during any power outage.
Both options can be used simultaneously: run on mains power with batteries as automatic backup.
🛡️ Built to Last — Reliability You Can Count On
We know sensor taps need to perform in demanding, high-use environments — so we test them accordingly. Onvanti SF1107 taps are independently lab-tested to:
- 200,000 cycle endurance (cold water)
- 50,000 cycles at 80°C (hot water line)
- 3.0 MPa hydrostatic pressure with no distortion or leakage
- Power failure shut-off within 1 minute of power loss
This exceeds the requirements of Australian Watermark certification, giving you confidence that the tap will perform reliably year after year.
🌡️ Hot or Lukewarm Water?
The SF1107 is designed for cold or single-temperature pre-tempered water. To supply lukewarm or mixed water, your plumber will need to install a tempering or thermostatic valve on the supply line feeding the tap — this is a standard and straightforward addition. See our installation diagram here.

Onvanti sensor taps are engineered to last in high-traffic settings. Thanks to stringent Australian Watermark standards, our sensor taps are 3rd party lab tested:
- To 200,000 cycle endurance tests
- To withstand upto 3.0 MPa hydrostatic pressure at 80 °C with no distortion or leakage
- Power Failure shutoff within 1 minute of power loss
Yes, with the addition of a thermostatic or tempering valve installed by your plumber upstream of the tap. The tap itself delivers whatever temperature water is supplied to it. Many healthcare and aged care installations include a thermostatic valve as standard.
